I often wonder,
where happiness starts.
The journey has its roots
in each of our hearts.
Every one of us have
Our own “happiness” view.
It shows up in the mirror
If we are just as true.
Spending time with people
whom we love and care.
Its in these investments in time,
Happiness holds a share.
All the fortunes in this world,
Might not make our spirits sing.
It’s amazing how much joy,
a thing of beauty seems to bring.
Happiness is processed,
A hundred times in our mind.
Secret is to have no secret
Just keep it positive and kind.
Happiness that we seek,
Is not dependent of age.
