The way is steep and the call is on
Paths are strewn with rocky stones
Peaks towering above to scale upon
Not much time for moans and groans

Soothing bore are the splendid plains
The lull and dull of the silver streams
The stress, travails and climbing pains
Are warp and woven in all my dreams

I shall not falter, never fail to try
Get back on foot, at every fall
I am not a trothless, recreant fly
Defiance, my middle name, after all!

Endeavour to tread at my best
Confidence clad, at every cry
Challenge me, be it everest
For me, the Win, is to try and try!
